How to become a driver partner

 

Step 1:Register for our driver partner training(1 day)

 

• Register for our driver partner Intake training course.

• Kindly note that our training course takes place twice a year in April and August on a first come first serve.   

• Training fee: R5,995.00(non-refundable. Includes courier slot, admin fee, criminal checks, uniform and name tag )

• NB: Closing date for the first intake is on the 3rd May 2024 on a first come first service.

Step 2: Driver Partner Application (7 days)

• An android smart phone for the delivery app & GPS.

• Your own vehicle e.g., White NP200 or Utility with canopy

• Vehicle Registration documents

• Valid Driver’s Licence

• South African ID

• Proof of Residential Address

• Proof of bank details

• Vehicle Images (Front, Left, Right & Back)

 

Step 3: Background Checks & Verifications (3 days)

 

• Criminal checks, Verification of ID, Driver’s license, Vehicle documents and driving history.

 

Step 4: Contract Agreement(5 days)

 

• It takes 5 days for all parties to sign a contract agreement.

 

Step 5: Branded Items (7 days)

 

• Vehicle branding, Branded Uniform, Name card,etc

 

How we work?

• Freeway Couriers is a registered South African company and it abides by the laws of this country.

• Local Rates : We pay our full-time or part-time courier partners R35.00 per outlet or address, each driver drop or collect from 30 shop outlets per day locally

• Long distance Rates: We pay our long distance drivers R342.77 –R2,925.00 per hour (to and from the destination)depending on the model of your car

• Operational times : Our Full-time Driver partners work from Monday to Friday,08:00am-5:00pm while Part-time drivers work Saturday & Sunday 9:00am-4:00pm 

• NB: Admin fee is non refundable, Kindly do not apply If you have a criminal record or do not have access to a vehicle
